OnePlus is back in headlines with its new affordable smartphone OnePlus Nord. The launch of this reasonably priced smartphone is expected in a few days, probably till the 10th of July. The smartphone will be available on Amazon where the teaser video has already showed-up and is all set to compete in the affordable-premium segment with brands like Xiaomi, Vivo, and Samsung. The company along with Amazon has set up a website especially for OnePlus Nord where all the specifications about this phone will be revealed.
The smartphone will feature a Scandinavian design as was shown in the teaser of the OnePlus Nord that aired yesterday. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset and will flaunt a 6.55-inch super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. According to a report by Android Central, the phone will come with a dual-camera setup at the front, comprising of a 32MP primary lens and an 8MP wide-angle sensor. The phone will feature a dual punch-hole cutout and borderless edges. The rear camera setup is expected to possess 3 cameras, with a 48MP primary camera, 16MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens and, a fourth depth sensor.

The leaks suggest that this phone would be running on Oxygen OS. The OnePlus Nord will come with a 4000mAh battery, Type-C port, and 30W wrap charge. The smartphone will be available in three colour variants, blue, white, and red. It is likely to be priced below Rs. 40,000 and will be launched in Europe and India before other markets. The device would be available on Amazon India where the pre-order of a limited 100 units have been made available today.
OnePlus is also set to launch its new affordable Smart TV in India on July 2, which is going to make the premium OnePlus experience accessible to more customers. The starting price for this new affordable Smart TV segment would be under Rs. 20,000.
