Leaks & Rumors
Although resembling the 7T pro in design and back panel, this handset is rumored to possess a 6.65” inch screen, larger than that of One Plus 8. Laced with full AMOLED Quad HD+ display the company is also offering an upgrade in the refresh rate from earlier 90Hz to 120Hz.
Presenting a screen resolution of 3180×1440 pixels, the display has a borderless punch hole cut out and the usual curved edges. In the camera section, the phone will supposedly have a 32-megapixel camera at the front and although the number of sensors at the back is 4, it will have a triple camera set-up at the back.
The rear cameras comprise a 64-megapixel sensor for the main camera, a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. From the leaked image, it is being supposed that the fourth sensor is a 3D ToF sensor.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, which most certainly will be present in most of the 2020 flagship smartphones is also a key spec of One Plus 8 pro. On closer inspection, the leaked images disclose that this smartphone would be running on Oxygen OS, an operating system designed exclusively for One Plus Smartphones.

Another appealing asset of this phone is going to be a glass body with an alloy frame, giving it the premium look that is expected from One Plus Smartphones. The front will come with Gorilla Glass 6 protection as phones with glass bodies are quite slippery and prone to accidents.
While the One Plus 8 will have the option of only 8GB RAM as standard, the One Plus 8 pro will also be provided with the 12GB variant. With a battery of 4500mAh and 50W super wrap charge, this smartphone is expected to deliver exceptional performance for many hours. Rumors are also hinting at wireless charging which One Plus hasn’t given in any of its smartphones so far.
One Plus 8 pro is expected to be launched around March or April 2020, and would be priced at around ₹48,000 to 55,000.
