Established in 1989, Asus started making motherboards for computers. They had a very strong partnership with Intel. Even now both have a strong bonding with each other. Therefore, Asus uses Intel phone processors in their smartphones. After having a great success and response from Indian buyers, Asus has just launched a new series called ZenFone2. This smartphone will be available in 4 variants and the top end variant will be having 4GB of ram. There will be more variants of ZenFone2 which the company might launch later. This will be the first ever phone coming with so much of variants and will be quite confusing for buyers.

Talking about its looks, Asus gives ZenFone2 a refreshed look with 5.5 inches screen with fully metal finish of the removal plastic back although the battery is non-removable. Its ends are more curved as compared to its predecessor ZenFone5. The phone looks sportier and premium. The dimensions of phone are 152.5 X 77.2 X 10.9mm and weighs 170g. The grip of phone will be nice but will feel quite uncomfortable to use it with your one hand. The most important change is the power button. You don’t have to use this button because this phone allows you to double tap the phone screen to wake the phone up or to put it to sleep.

As we came across its features, the ZenFone2 is a power packed phone. Coming with both 2GB and 4GB ram with Intel atom chip set and latest Android version i.e. 5.0 lollipop makes it faster and better performer. Talking about its camera, the primary camera comes with 5MP and rear comes with 13MP. Camera was expected to be more powerful but it does not correlate to its pixel count. The image quality is better than ZenFone2 but not up to the mark. But it provides dozens of features in camera section. One of the coolest feature is low light mode capturing. The shots taken in this mode looks more better, visible and detailed too.

The battery power is more as compared to ZenFone5 but still not great. It comes with 3000mah of battery and lasts up to 8 hours as in many video loop tests.
